and artistically relevant solution to offer privacy in the dining
room. Although these were fabricated and installed by Abraxis

| THE
NORTHERN HOTEL |
Ft. Collins
CO |
| This
historic hotel, currently undergoing a complete renovation,
features a 24' stained glass dome, originally installed in the
1930's. All 48 panels of an Art Deco design have been removed
and are receiving a total renovation by Abraxis Art Glass Inc.
Each of the 4000+ pieces of glass are being dismantled, cleaned,
and reassembled with new lead, to be reinstalled at the original
site. The lobby of the hotel also features 9-4'x7' large stained
glass panels as skylights, 25' above floor level. Like the dome,
age, neglect, and a leaking roof, have compromised the integrity
of these panels, and will receive similar attention to restore
them to their original condition. |
